Soooo I made up for being that slacker blogger. All these pictures and more to follow. Here are some more pics of Millenium Park. I think this is the last of the pictures that I have of the girlies until they get on that bus for the first day of school on Tuesday. It is bittersweet that the summer is over. But let me tell you IT WILL BE GOOD TO BE BACK AT SCHOOL - and healthy too!!! : ) Have a great Labor Day everyone!!!!

Rollin Rollin Rollin

Elise had such a blast in the sand, I just had to share this. She is truly my one of a kind daughter. My other two hated the sand when they were babies, they just screamed with terror in their eyes if their feet got within 5 feet of the sand. Elise on the other hand just has to keep rollin!!!! And then there is that time to share a piece of string cheese with Braedy in the sand. Yum yum, sand with cheese. Pretty close to a cheese sandwhich dont ya think!!!

More fun before the summer is dun (done)

This past Friday we wanted to do something special for the girls as one last horrah before they go back to school. So we took them to the splash pad at Millenium Park as well as the beach. They had so much fun there. I think Elise got a little carried away with the sand. She was just rollin rollin rollin. I am not as excited to roll in the sand as her. Got to love all that sand in the cracks!!! ; )

Loser Blogger

I know I am soooo much a loser blogger that I havent blogged in a week or so. We just have been extremely busy trying to fit in the rest of summer before school starts this week Tuesday. Yes, the school shopping which is ever so much fun with a almost 7 year old who thinks that she knows all of todays latest trends and if her mom or grandma dares pick out something without her consent well...lets just say it feels like I have a 16 year old on my hands. Grandma and Grandpa Dykstra have been out camping for the past 2.5 weeks at the conferance grounds, and we have taken some trips out to visit and roast marshmellows with sticky fingers and yes the very first smore for Lisey. Fun fun fun until it ends in a couple of days. There are so many pictures I need to share, that there are more to follow.

o.k. so not her walkin shoes. Her feet are too fat to fit in any of her shoes, and I am not in the market for Stride Rites. Well, she is off and walking, and it leaves me kindof sad. Its only up hill from here.

I took pictures of the kids of this great family last night at the park and in Grand Haven. I just started getting some of them together and these are just a few of the pictures taken. There will be more on my website in a couple of days. Thanks Maria and Giovanna for allowing me to capture memories of your sweet family. I had alot of fun and really enjoyed all of the company!!!

Girls just wanna have fun!!

We took care of some friends yesterday for a while, and the girls played Libby Lu in the bathroom. They had everything you could possibly imagine out. The makeup the hair accessories, the dressup clothes, the radio blarring a Hannah Montana cd - trust me it was a real Libby Lu. They all got dolled out. I dont know from the looks of Braedy if she was trying to be a real pro and do it with her eyes shut or what. Well Braedy finished Averies and Taylors hair and we have a shot of the back of Taylors hair in the picture. I know we will have a lineup at our door now with people looking to get their hair done by Braedy. Well Lisey was up to her own little thing while I was taking these pictures. She was in a room sitting in a chair just singing "O" she looks so serious as she sings - maybe we have a choir director on our hands as well as a cosmotologist.

Beach family

So I think that our family could basicly live at the beach. If you cannot tell from all of the beach pictures lately, we pretty much visit the beach every weekend. The kids just have a hoot there, and it is great to enjoy all of Gods creation with the girls. Averie is really getting it that God did create everything!! She just said yesterday when we watched the sunset "Look at the beautiful sunset that God made." It is God to see the girls taking in all of the glories of Gods outstanding world that He so graciously blessed us with.
