Looking at Christmas thru a childs eyes

I just love Christmas time!!! Its a time of giving for me, I just love to give, so much more than recieving - it puts me in a high state. During this week we look at Thanksgiving. We give thanks and we look at giving too!! We give our God all praise and thanks for the many blessings that He has given us first and foremost, but we also look at giving to others. I wish that I could just be a Santa - to be able to go out there and give give give to all the little children and BIG CHILDREN out there. One of my other favorite times about Christmas is being able to see Christmas thru a childs eyes. Yes, they love to get those catalogs in the mail and circle, circle, circle but they also love all the music and the lights. I caught Elise looking at the tree the other night in awe and splender of the lights and the ornaments. I just wish I could get inside her head and know what she was thinking. Her eyes were just lit up by this tree lights - it was sheer amazment for me. I just wish that everyone could have this sheer amazment of Christmas in their eyes right now, instead of being so caught up in the ecomomy and the business of the season. I know that it is a tough time with the economy right now, but what else can we seriously need or want. We have it all - we have the salvation that Christ has given us sooo freely, and we have family and friends. What more can we ask for. This season - try to take it slow and see Christmas thru a childs eyes - What joy, what Amazement!!!!

Let your light so shine!!!

These candles where in luminaries along the streets of Lowell. The downtown area of the city was all decorated for christmas and it was very pretty. The kids got a kick out of walking downtown and seeing the lights - or at least for the most part they did. It was fun until the sibling rivalry started in. These lights though, just reminded me of how I must always be a light in the world - letting it shine for Jesus, and letting it burn brightly.

Christmas Cards

Its not too late to still get that great family portrait and also your Christmas cards ready. I have designed some more christmas cards and they are just ready for that family picture of your to be dropped onto it. If you dont like what you see, I can also design one in the color of your choise. To view more please visit http://www.abundantblessingsphotography.shutterfly.com/. Are you thinking its too cold for that outdoor picture? I have just recently added lighting and backdrops to my little studio in my basement. Also, if you have a destination that you would like - say the Amway Grand Hotel - they have lots of great areas, such as stairways, lobbys, etc - that would be great for those memories.
